New Advocates and Hidden Opposition

Charles E Carlson

A fair-minded person of any race or religion who has visited Gaza and stayed for even a week, could not help but conclude that the population of 1.8 million-plus is being systematically executed by bombing and deprivation. Their exposure to communicable planned disease, perhaps worse than COVID 19, is terrible to contemplate because of their packed conditions. Today there is an organized counter-movement to save them, growing within Mainline or Traditional churches!  We Hold These Truths has been a pioneer in this effort. There is hope where there is help!  In part II we will introduce you to two of those with whom we can stand.  We hope you will watch them closely and support their efforts.

It is an extreme paradox that the Gaza gulag keepers are the same ethnic group who were once the victims, held in Nazi concentration camps when World War II ended. Some of the executioners descended from those held in Auschwitz. The principal difference between Auschwitz and Gaza is the numbers. There are far more Gazans! This writer resolved the “what is Gaza” issue nineteen years ago when I saw and felt both the desperation and the spirit of life in 1.85 million forgotten human prisoners, already forcibly confined, and systematically deprived of clean water, power, and food. I saw them bombed at night, while the world pretended not to see.

Only American churchmen can save the Gazans. I repeat, politicians cannot and will not do it because they are universally intimidated by the powerful Jewish groups that control Israel, most of the American press, and the political leaders on all sides.

A politician cannot save both his career and the Palestinian people. One or both are expendable, and he knows it. Politicians, including our current President and his opponent, know full well they must not challenge the Israeli lobby on the Palestine issue. Israeli Palestine was not established as a homeland for economically marginal Jews, as we are told; instead, it is a world Zionist political power center. It is a power cabal for Jewish economic aggression upon the world, beginning with the oil-rich Middle East.  To Israeli’s, this means that Palestinians are a problem that must go. The eventual extermination of all those in Gaza, except those willing to walk out into the desert to await adoption, is a virtual certainty unless there is a rescuer.  The Palestinian rescuer will not come from American politicians, nor from the so-called “Christian Right.”

Religious leaders in Zionist churches tell us God wrote the plan for modern Israel in a book or onto a stone. Therefore, most churchmen worldwide will refuse to face it. Only Christ Followers who believe in Jesus’ admonition to love one’s brother, “even the least of these,” will respond. Israel’s systematic purging of the Gaza Palestinians is a planned genocide. Only in a few seeking churches in America today do we find Christians willing and committed to defend the fact that Gazans deserve to live, even though most are Muslim.

Should churches visit Gaza and send their missionaries there? They must learn for themselves, but the Israelis are too smart to let most of them in! Thus Gaza is systematically isolated. But Israelis will not let missionaries into the Gaza gulag. American churches can not help but know this, and have plenty of information available from people like myself, who have been there by a life-changing accident. They need to recognize that Gaza is as much a concentration camp as were the Gulags of Europe 75 years ago.

America’s mainline churches must resolve their un-Christ-like failure to defend the lives of Gaza Palestinian Muslims, or they will themselves be deservedly converted into God-professing social gatherings, as Evangelical or Dispensational churches already have been. The most radical anti-Muslims in these churches now answer to the  anti-Christlike oxymoron, “Christian Zionist.” This author helped to name it thus 20 years ago!

What can prevent both the total elimination of Traditional Christianity and the people of Palestine? Can it be more obvious? Somewhere among American churches, there must be a return to Jesus’ words demanding that we love and rescue the needy neighbor. Christianity is based on a scriptural sense of morality taught by Jesus. Every church leader knows this, but do they follow it? Or will they ignore mass murder in the Holy Land? Yes, they already have!

Supporting Israel’s war on its neighbors stands in shameful contrast to following Jesus’ example. It conflicts with every principle that He taught. Most leaders have been fooled by clever, warped scripture-bending to a “pray about and accept” theology. When is the last time you heard a prayer for Gazans or Palestinians in your church? How about, “for peace in the Holy Land”?

Concerning this issue, churches are developing into two opposing classes.  The “Blessed are the peacemaker” side includes a growing movement inside Traditional or mainline Protestants and Catholics. On the Israeli side are “Christian Zionists” by whatever name and denomination they profess. It is vital to understand them. We have written and identified this sect and its leaders in the pulpit and the media, who proudly answers to the “Christian Zionist” label, for almost 20 years.

Self-proclaiming “Evangelical” or “Dispensational” churchmen and many megachurches have accepted the notion that the State of Israel is “God’s chosen people” and the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy!  Israel is therefore above reproach, even for genocide. From a ridiculous bending of Christian Scripture, they have accepted the idea that the State of Israel is above moral criticism because it fulfills a prophecy found in the Old Testament. It is, therefore, untouchable regardless of its acts, including media-hidden, silent genocide of the Gazans. Most Traditional or Mainline church leaders reject this neo-theology.  It is through them that there is hope for Palestinians.

We Hold These Truths has a vital and difficult part to carry out.  We have discovered several organizations that are not a part of the churches, but which teach a subtle form of Zionism within Evangelical and many Mainline churches!  Our next task is to expose these lavishly funded organizations already entrenched in many Traditional Mainline Christian churches. We have already learned that Christian Zionist churches are too far gone to save the Palestinian. In fact, political Zionists are presently able to sell them on any war that can be tied to Islam!

In part two of this series, we will introduce those we see to be growing advocates for the Palestinians, working to influence thousands of traditional churches, and the pro-Zionist ones we have described. In preparation, we ask you to watch our own amateur film, part of it taken in Gaza where the camera was held by this writer. Its closing footage is a March, 2003, Israeli missile raid on Gaza City. We invite skeptical readers to look at the end of the film first!  The filmed raid killed four and wounded 40 Palestinians, and it never made the US press!

In part II we will describe our next part in exposing the Christian Zionist war on truth!  We will invite you to join us in this next endeavor that God seems to have given us. It will be a large research task, and we will also need resources, volunteer hands, and minds.
