Rod Parsley is pastor of the 13,000 member, World Harvest Church that teaches Judeo-Christian-Zionism. Pastor Parsley is one of the prominent supporters of John Hagee’s “A Night To Honor Israel” and is Regional Director of the organization Christians United For Israel.
Respectively, Parsley goes even beyond Hagee in his openly stated hatred for Islam, which is attached to his activist politics, ignoring Jesus’ words of peace and love. The name of our American Forefathers has also been defiled by his public statements that America was founded partly for the purpose of destroying Islam.
Parsley has, for some years, raised donations to free 29,771 supposed slaves in Sudan by his own claim, buying them from slave traders and setting them free. Since 2002, evidence and first hand testimony overwhelmingly refutes that there is no organized slave trade in Sudan, and reveals that the quasi “slave reparations” are fund-raising photo opportunities that have benefited armed revolution in Sudan.
Parsley has fostered fear and hatred of Islam in the minds and hearts of his followers that include school children, college students, and youth groups and under his influence, some of whom are known to have donated money to “free slaves” as late as June, 2008.
Come; help speak out for peace and justice for all people before this big congregation. Some of them will agree with you. Signs and hand-out literature are furnished. Examples are:

The Rules of the Vigil:
* Please park your car OFF THE CHURCH PROPERTY and park and walk only on public right-of -ways.
* Report to those with the big yellow and black Project Strait Gate signs.
* Please dress in traditional church attire.
* Refrain from LOUD exchanges with anyone. This is a quiet vigil.
* Please give space to those who come out to talk. Do not interrupt; do not argue…listen and respond.
* Stay spaced apart so all signs may be seen and read by those driving by.
* Please refer official inquiries to the Sponsors.
* Hand out literature will be provided.
* The police will be notified of this event and be asked to be present.
Directions:
Exit I-70 at Brice Road South (Exit 110). World Harvest Church is three miles south of this exit. Brice Road becomes Gender Road and World Harvest Church is on the right at the corner of Gender Road and Shannon Road. Look for the big yellow and black Project Strait Gate sign.
