Americans are beginning to wonder whom to blame for our Serial Wars. Every educator in the schoolyard must learn to establish guilt or he will suffer chaos. We must do the same.
If a little guy starts a schoolyard fight too often he will probably be labeled “feisty or pugnacious” and watched closely for signs of social maladjustment. He may be cured when he encounters a big guy who can level him. But when the biggest kid on the schoolyard constantly hammers smaller and weaker people he earns a different title, “bully.” He requires discipline.
Now, two years after Day 911, Americans are beginning to figure out that someone controlling their government is the bully of the world. What too few have noticed is that the Judeo-Christian celebrity leaders are the “enable” or Cheerleader without which the wars could not go on. Project Strait Gates purpose is to expose and correct the Enablers. Numerous articles and research papers by this author detail this problem and establish our thesis. Jerry Falwell is a case study in cheerleading for war.
Celebrity Christian leader Jerry Falwell showed his claws when Project Strait Gate went to Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia in August, according to “Group Opposes Falwell’s Stance” by Staff Reporter for the Lynchburg Advance & News, August 18th. She said Falwell responded to picketers who stood in front of his church, by personally denouncing them:
“On any given Sunday we’ll have environmentalists, atheists,we’ll have gays and lesbians”, Falwell began.
The Advance reporter first interviewed each picketer outside the church and then went into the Sunday school class to hear the Pastor’s public response. She reported:
“He (Falwell) called the protesters
“Anti-George Bush and anti-Semitic”?
She further quoted him as saying.
“We are glad to have these folks. This is America. Nuts are just as welcome as educated (people).“
Pastor Falwell is trusted to educate the sons and daughters of thousands of fundamentalist church-goers at Liberty University. On Sundays, many students attend his church where Falwell tells thousands what is Godly and what is not.
The question raised by We Hold These Truths, is this a pro life church. If so, how can you support Israel and its genocide and their abortion policy. Further, what is your Biblical authority to make war on Iraqi civilians.
Reverend Falwell provided no answers that we have heard. He ignored the issue, though a significant number of attendees stopped to discuss it. He instead contemptuously attempts to discredit those who challenged him, a tactic that does not usually even work in dirty political campaigns. It will also fail in church. He had several days warning that Strait Gate was coming to Lynchburg and a letter explaining our purpose and asking him to come out and talk to us. Instead he sent staff members to ask us to listen to his preaching. We declined on account of their apostasy.
For Falwell, the ultimate denunciation is “anti-Semitism” a Jewish curse placed upon those whom Jews do not like. Mel Gibson and his father are recent examples. Judeo-Christian leaders commonly resort to “anti-Semite” when they dont want to answer a question. It is a back-handed compliment from someone like Falwell who prides himself on being a Judeo-Christian. He reserves it for those who bother him significantly.
Jerry Falwell is anything but dumb, and is in no way a buffoon as some have incorrectly painted him. At the age of 70 he is street wise and clever, and he knows very well what questions he must not answer. To answer We Hold These Truths is to punch the tar baby for, as we will show, one that punches it will be stuck.
This celebrity preacher and college “educator” also clearly fibbed by suggesting that the undesirable elements picket him “on any given Sunday.” But Lynchburg Police Officers that were present did not remember the last time they were called to a picket at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Falwells congregations are probably so used to his stretches they accept them as part of his personality.
“Falwellianisms” unlike Orwellianisms, are little white political lies. We tell our children they must never allow such lies to become a habit. Anyone listening to Falwell critically will note these little distortions have become a part of his personality.
Why did Jerry Falwell get so upset over four picketers with combined ages of about 250 years? His characterization of the picketers is a “Falwellianism”, for he did not come out to meet any of those present so he could hardly know who was there, or what education they have. In fact, one picketer was Willis Carto the publisher of two magazines, another is an author of several books, hardly “uneducated” by Lynchburg standards. As for calling us “nuts” Falwell is welcome to his opinion.
Pastor Falwells little exaggeration is a tip-off to the huge false witness he commits in support of unlimited war upon the unarmed Palestinians, and his support for every act of Israeli savagery, including its state sponsored and performed policy of unlimited abortion.
Israeli patriotism requires an enormous and sin riddled distortion of scripture. Biblical excuses must be found for the deliberate murder of schoolchildren where no such excuses exist. Judeo-Christians must also ignore the abhorrent abortion policy of the State of Israel that takes more lives every year than the Palestinian bombers have killed in all 13 years of the uprising against the occupation.
The Palestinian body bombers would have to kill 50 Israelis every day, every year, to equal the abortions deaths performed by the Government of Israel. By comparison, in all the years of the uprising, less than 100 Israeli children under the age of 18 have been killed in Palestinians raids, including the unfortunate five who died on a bus last week. In contrast, Israel has killed about a thousand Palestinian children in the last two years. Most are carefully placed head and chest-shot. These are the kinds of fact Falwell never acknowledges.
Pastor Falwell did not attempt to answer the literature we carefully delivered to him, nor does he challenge the messages on the big yellow signs in front of his door. We Hold These Truths has found this typical of senior pastors who run big businesses. This is why we started Project Strait Gate. But junior staff people and attendees often do stop to discuss the issues with us. Here are some of the challenges Jerry Falwell ignored
CHOOSE LIFE NOT WAR

APOSTLES NOT APOSTASY, DUMMY

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS
and,
CHRISTIAN ZIONISM KILLS PALESTINIANS
Judeo-Christianity has no New Testament answers to these simple statements. Its adherents must ignore every challenge. If they try to answer they quickly find themselves stuck to the tar baby, as the following case will demonstrate.
Christian school Principal Tom Chaffin, who is clearly younger and less wily than Falwell, wrote to Project Strait Gate after reading of our picket at Jerry Falwell’s church. Mr. Chaffin, like Falwell is a “Christian educator”, the Principal of Grace Community School in Sun Valley, California. There, he presumably trains Kindergarten through 9th grade children how to face problems in a Godly way and how to live life in Jesus? image. Project Strait Gate picketed Grace Community Church, pastored by the famous Judeo-Christian John MacArthur, in early August. School Principal Chaffin who works for MacArthur, wrote:
“Please remove me from your idiotic and insane mailing list. Your lies, distortions, and twisted thinking [are] disgusting!”
Project Strait Gate is not offended. Instead we asked Principal Chaffin to explain where he thought WHTT “lied.” Here is his response:
“Dear Mr. Carlson
1. President Clinton avowed the existence of WMD (weapons of mass destruction). The UN Security Council avowed the existence of WMD. Saddam Hussein kicked UN inspectors out of his country for four years because they were looking for WMD. President Bush has appropriately presented damning evidence of WMD. To strongly infer that they are non-existent is tantamount to a lie.”
2. I do not believe that the US ever intentionally bombed 1K Iraqi civilians. Of course civilians die in war. War is horrible. but necessary. Would we sit back and let Hitler murder ALL the Jews in the world? NO, we did the honorable thing; we went to war against a murderous tyrant to free Europe, and I am sure lots of civilians died under allied bombs. but the war and the bombings were justified. ditto Iraq. ditto freeing Kuwait. ditto Afghanistan.”

To show a picture of one Iraqi girl and thereby cast aspersions on President Bushs noble, heroic effort, and to tie this to the pro-life position (which is clearly against the murderous act of abortion) is idiotic and insane. It is a distortion of the truth. (Not one more Iraqi citizen will be tortured, murdered by Saddam Hussein and his butcher sons and thugs.)

Principal Chaffin may be the only one in his school who still believes in WMDs, and that President Bush’s bombing of Iraq and Afghanistan is “heroic and noble.”
Tom Chaffins last paragraph refers to a bookmark we handed out at his school and church, many to children who readily accepted them even when the parents refused. It clearly upset Principal Chaffin, and you can view this hand out. He is clearly bothered by the suggestion that his church can not be pro-life if it accepts bombing Tibia and other already born children. It bothers him because he has no answer for it.
But in his anger Principal Chaffin has made the cardinal error for any dispensationalist, he has shown that he has little factual knowledge. Why, because to be a Judeo-Christian one must be willing to pursue ignorance, a poor trait for an educator. Knowledge is their tar baby!
WHTT then asked Principal Chaffin this simple question that any Christian School principal should have at his fingertips:
“What would Jesus say about your conclusion? Do you have a scriptural basis for your answers?”
WHTT has yet to receive an answer, and probably wont. There is no justification for vengeance in the Words of Jesus. The usual answer when a Judeo-Christian is backed in this corner is taken from a clip in Romans, and if we get an answer it will probably be:
“We have to obey our Commander in Chief because God appointed him to serve over us.” or words to that effect.”
Christ following is a faith; it is not a religion and it is not a business. It does not make liars of its adherents, and it does not tolerate lies. And Christ does not shower wealth on its icons, in fact it has no icons. Christ following demands truth no matter what the cost.
Not so with the apostate religion called “Judeo-Christianity, which is anything but a faith; and for most celebrities, including Pastors Falwell and MacArthur, it is a very successful business with huge tax advantages that encourages great accumulation of wealth.
Judeo-Christianity lives by distortions of the Bible. Even Jesus Christ’s own words are distorted to fit Israels agenda, it is the terrible bloody Apostate church:
SERIAL WARS AND THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT:
The Wolfowitz Cabal arranges war, George W. Bush and Ariel Sharon carry out war, and Judeo-Christians enable war. By embracing the politics of Judeo-Christianity (sometimes called “Christian Zionism”) these celebrity leaders have committed themselves to the warmaking act required by unapologetic killers of thousands, including Ariel Sharon, and most recently, George W. Bush.
Pastor Falwell and professional Christians like him have learned to ignore or deny that the blood of the innocent is on their own hands. They discredit their victims by claiming the victims are the aggressors. Professional Christians must live a total contradiction of Jesus words. He said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” They say, Blessed are the Warmakers. He said, “suffer the little children to come to me.” They say, “suffer the little children to suffer if they are of the wrong race.”
No wonder Pastor Falwell calls his detractors names and does not answer questions. If Principal Chaffin learns the truth and starts acting it out in John MacArthurs School it will probably cost him his job. Such is the test of the narrow path that leads to the Strait Gate.
Pastor Falwell treats those Palestinians with the same distain and dishonesty that he reserves for Strait Gate picketers. The Palestinians are less guilty than we are, for they do not challenge Falwell at his church. We do.
Judeo-Christianity is Christian Racism. It Kills Palestinians, It Supports Abortion.
Davis Pavin, a talk show personality on Radio WDGE Delaware, who qualifies to be an Israeli citizen by his linage, stated candidly in an interview with the writer, that Judeo-Christianity makes no sense and is an oxymoron. Here is how he put it:
“Christianity is all about Jesus being God; and Judaism is a religion that is all about Jesus not being God, so how can you make these two the bookends for a religion”?
Mr. Pavins observation is correct and his logic is undeniable, and very sad. Consider the millions who think they are “Christians” but justify evil in Christs name.
One must abandon the faith of a Christ-Follower to accept the religious apostasy of Judeo-Christianity. Most of the professing Christians who follow Jerry Falwell and John MacArthur do not dream they are following the wide path that Jesus condemned. Most think their sect is Christianity and all others fall short, that is what Jerry Falwell and John MacArthur tell them.
Judeo-Christianitys adherents, like Falwell (this writer should know, he used to be a Baptist Deacon) can never face the argument presented to them head on. When challenged on facts the experienced professional Christian refuses to answer, as Falwell did, and resorts to the politicians tactics of discrediting the source. He has no choice because their arguments do not stand the light of a candle, to say nothing of a searchlight.
When challenged on false use of scripture Judeo-Christians resorts to spewing. This is a blizzard of more loosely related if related at all scripture passages, which we have experienced from rare media debates. The answer to spewing is Project Strait Gate.
We will again challenge Jerry Falwell in front of his followers in early October when he will host a conference for thousands of pastors in Lynchburg. A new team is organizing in Virginia to take charge. One of the Strait Gate leaders will be a man who put three of his sons through Falwells Liberty University. Like this writer, he freed himself from the wide path of Judeo-Christianity.
This time we will make a direct suggestion that Falwells followers consider withdrawing their support for his religious business and his ?Christian? career. In this way, and only in this way, can we serve God by showing misguided Christ-Followers that their support for the travesty of Serial Wars is misguided. -end
