A temporary gasoline shortage recently struck Phoenix, AZ.  Desperate workers pushed their cars and trucks to gas stations in 108-degree heat.  Some price doubled to as high as $3.50 a gallon.  A broken pipeline caused the problem and is soon to be fixed.  Politicians blamed “price gougers” and have promised new laws in case there is another catastrophe.

If you want to see giant price gouging, take a look at the price of gasoline in Iraq since President Bush allowed Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and his oil industry friends unfettered operation of Iraqs oil industry.  First, they liberated the people from their freedom, and now are freeing them from any cash they might have left. Sadly some of the least strong Iraqis have and will also lose their lives for lack of fuel.

It may be hard for some Americans to believe the absolute fact that gasoline and diesel fuel were sold to the Iraqi public (and business as well) for less than a nickel a gallon ($.05) during the sanctions (embargo) period between 1991 and US occupation.  Gas was indeed often cheaper than water in Sadam Husseins Iraq.

US politicians? favorite arch villain Saddam Hussein must have realized there is value in making friends with the ordinary people.  As a matter of public policy, his government dumped gas on the domestic market, providing all that could be consumed.  This means that anyone living in Iraq, even Husseins political opposition could run their car, heat their house a little in the winter, perhaps cool it in the summer, generate electricity, run a taxi or a truck line, or just cook food and boil water, all at next to zero fuel cost.

It is vital to note that for the Empire?s* sanctions against Iraq were administered by the United Nations.  These sanctions starved Iraqis and also prohibited American from enjoying the benefits of Iraq?s surplus energy.  We were paying nearly $2.00 per gallon for gas in January 2000, 40 times more than the Iraqis were paying for the same fuel at the same time! *Why Gas Costs $2.00 Per Gallon, WHTT, March 27, 2000.

But as soon as Iraq was ?liberated? by the US Army, energy became unavailable to the impoverished Iraqis, even though the production booms ahead under US and British corporate control.

We have read about demonstrators and near riots in Basra, where oil production is nearly limitless. Lines at gas pumps are measured in kilometers and people sometimes wait all day to fill a can with gasoline to cook on.  The reported price now varies from $1.00 to $1.50 per gallon, an impossible price for the unemployed and impoverished Iraqis.  No wonder Iraqis are fast learning to hate anything connected with the USA, including the United Nations, whose headquarters was just bombed by Guerillas.

Clean water and electricity have remained unavailable to many since the bombing.  Only those who can afford fuel can purify the dirty water worst, which in many areas is delivered to houses in barrels, according to aid agencies who are there.  The price of fuel, on which Iraq families depend for survival, has increased by 30 to 50 times, and the Cabal is in charge.  How is that for “price gouging?”

WHY THE KIRKOOK-BANIAS PIPELINE HAS BEEN BOMBED TWICE

One of the Rumsfeld Cabals* first acts was to reopen the pipeline from Iraqs northern oil field into Cabal cooperative Turkey.  Imagine the wrath of the Iraqis when they learn their liberators are scudding fuel out of the country to the Turks.  No wonder the Kirkook pipeline has been bombed twice.  You might feel like bomb someone if your family was starving in the heat without clean water and you learned food was being commandeered and shipped to Mexico or Israel.

*The Term ?Cabal? was first leaked by Anchorman Ted Koppel on March 5, NBC Nightline in describing Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, William Kristol, and others and their semisecret war planning organization called The Project for the New American Century.

Unconfirmed reports and photographic evidence that the USA may be building a new pipeline through Kuwait to steal the oil from Southern Iraq need to be watched.  And, according to a Haaretz August 25th Article, the Cabal has broken the news of their intent to pump Iraqi oil into Israel.

We Hold These Truths first discovered the amazing hidden fact that Iraqi people got free energy in January 2000, while we were in a shortage.  A long time trusted friend, Archie Blumhorst, at some risk to himself, traveled to Iraq in January 2000.  We quote from our printed and taped interview with Mr. Blumhorst in March 2000.*

” A busload of Americans were stretching their legs during a fuel stop.  A. W. Blumhorst calculated the conversion of gallons to liters and native currency to us dollars in his notebook.  He watched the attendant pump diesel fuel into the European made bus.  Do I have this figured right? he asked the English-speaking bus driver, is it possible you are buying fuel for four cents a gallon u.s.? Are you really going to fill this bus for a $10.00 bill…?  Maybe I should take a gallon home to Missouri or they will never believe me!”

*Why Gas Costs $2.00 Per Gallon

Mr. Blumhorst?s calculations were confirmed by others in Iraq.  In fact at most times and places the price may have been even less than .05 per US gallon.

It becomes immediately obvious to any reasonable observer why Saddam Hussein could remain in power so long.  He did not cheat his subjects.   Yes, he did imprison and kill some whom he considered his enemies, but the common poor people of Iraq not only received gasoline but they got free medical care (supplies were severely limited by the sanctions) and some cheap food from an efficient distribution system.  This balance was absent from the American press.

By contrast, our US cabalist controlled empire does not USUALLY kill its subjects but it cheats them every day!  Now the Cabal is stealing the oil from those they have conquered.

Before we leave the subject of how brutal Mr. Hussein is, we should note the Bush administration has invented a new euphemism for its assassinations that has become part of the American vocabulary.  When Mr. Bush refers to some suspected terrorist or enemy as having been “dealt with” a careful examination of the Presidents context shows his now commonly used phrase is his polite way of saying “assassinated.”  One difference (there may be others) between Bush and Hussein is that the former has not assassinated any of his own sons in law.  We know this is true because he does not have any.

We Hold These Truths has again confirmed this media-ignored blockbuster.  Five cent a gallon gas was not a fluke or a staged incident for a congressional junket.  And only last Saturday a trustworthy Americanized Iraqi confirm after first hand contacts in Iraq that gasoline prices are now about as high in Baghdad as in Washington DC.

Person who live in Iraq, and who have opposed Saddam Hussein, say the economic facts are, if anything, worse then we know.  It was Husseins economic policies that kept most of the people of Iraq friendly toward him.  This is probably why he has still not been captured in spite of the Cabals offer of 25 million of American tax dollars as a reward for him, dead or alive.  No wonder they want him dead, he makes the Cabal look bad by comparison.

The US Empires occupation has simply led to another economic disaster.  Oil, the national treasure of Iraq, is simple being looted from the suffering public before their eyes.  This is liberation, Cabal style.

Will the Iraqis be the last to be looted?  Hardly, Americans have been also been looted for years by the sanctions against Iraq.  Again we quote from WHTT?s own three year old story, WHY GAS COSTS $2.00 PER GALLON:

“One week later (February 2000) the American evening news featured a parade of Independent truckers driving their tractors through the streets of Washington D.C. protesting run away fuel prices.  Truckers will tell anyone in Washington who will listen that at $2.00 per gallon for diesel many independent trucker cannot afford to fill their tanks.  The per mile cost of running the rig consumes his operating margin, leaving not enough to send home to the wife and kids.”

*Why Gas Costs $2.00 Per Gallon

No one should be surprised that a war Cabal powerful enough to control presidents uses murder, false witness, theft, and covetousness as operating tools.  Criminal conspiracies exist by these means.  How much we will pay for fuel with the Cabal in control of Iraq?s oil?  Every American would be wise enough to ask this question.

But where are the moral leaders, the religionist of America?  Many are making excuses for the Warmakers and openly support the Cabals acts.  Murder, bearing false witness, theft, and covetousness are four of the Ten Commandments.  These are supposedly understood and opposed by Christian, Jew and Muslim alike.  Some few do, and they are to be thanked. But only Amerian Muslims consistently oppose serial wars.

The celebrity Judeo-Christians are leading for in support of the Cabals war.  They have the blood of the dead on their hands, including the American dead.  Local pastors share the guilt.  Most say nothing, though they have every opportunity to be heard.  They too are responsible for withering and pain wracked bodies of the starving and diseased children.  Shame on the terrible ?Christian? enablers of serial wars.  Those who accept and wink at a crime are as guilty as those who perform it.

Only when Judeo-Christian leaders repent and demand a stop to serial wars they will stop as will the international price gouging.  Their influence for either good or evil is greater than the media and Hollywood combined. -end

Reward:  If anyone can prove WHTTs facts about gasoline prices in Iraq are in error we will reward you by posting your letter in rebuttal and we will apologize to you on the steps of Jerry Falwells church when we go back there in October.
