We will report on the results of the demonstration and post a video report.
Here is the press release sent to the media:

WHAT: Challenging ASU President Michael Crow at the Jewish National Fund Breakfast
WHAT: Challenging ASU President Michael Crow at the Jewish National Fund Breakfast
WHERE: Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas – 6333 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ (View map)
WHEN: Friday, March 6, 2015 from 7 am to 9 am (We will conduct a peaceful demonstration on the public sidewalk at the southeast corner of Scottsdale Rd. & Lincoln Dr.)
WHY: We will hold a demonstration to express our opposition to Arizona State University President Michael Crow speaking at the Jewish National Fund breakfast.
Points to consider for holding our demonstration:
- The “ASU Sustainability and Social Justice in the Middle East” partnership program with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev ignores the injustices against Palestinians by the Israeli occupation.
- Ben-Gurion University crows that over 500 Bedouin students are enrolled at the university…
- While the Jewish National Fund plants trees on stolen Palestinian land and “owns 13% of the land [in Israel] and explicitly only allocates it to Jews.” (see, “Some Things Never Change: The Prawer Plan and the Legacy of the Nakba,” Rabbi Alissa Wise, Huffington Post)…
- And, the Israeli government repeatedly destroys Bedouin villages in the Negev desert. (see, “Israel’s plan to forcibly resettle Negev’s Bedouins prompts global protests,” theguardian.com)
