Vigil in Tempe, AZ, Saturday Night, for Hungry Gazan Children

Malnutrition, the first fatal step to starvation is now prevalent in Gaza.  Consider the man I met, a night watchman with 8 children lucky to have a job, but there is little work in Gaza now.  And his friend, so proud of his twenty three (23) children!  There is no bread, no fuel, or electricity and it is chill cold there in November. All Gazans are blockaded by the Israeli Army, with the Bush Administration s full support.  This blockade has been there for fourteen days now, all but forgotten by the world.

CARAMA is an Arab and Muslim organizations with lots of student members, run by a good friend, Mohammad Raid, who has asked We Hold These truths to support their vigil, as we did last year.  He has also invited me to speak to the crowd.  I will bring big readable signs for you.  You will like the company and they will like you.  So join us!
