TO OUR READERS: About several Internet Service Providers (ISP’S) who are abusing their customers.
LETTER A: TO WHOM DOES THIS LETTER APPLY
To the Abuse department of several Internet Service Providers (ISP’S) who are themselves abusing their customers’ rights, detected blocking legal mail from us to our friends and readers.
If you are NOT an ISP we agree that you are free to block any mail you wish, it’s your free speech right, CARRY ON!
But should anyone block your incoming mail from us unless you order them to do so? Most of the 90 isps listed below are doing just that. We have sent the following letter to those listed below who block mail without disclosure to anyone, and most blocked our complaint!
This letter is a bypass mailing to a list of about 900 readers who are being blocked by one of ISP’s listed at the end of this letter. If this makes you angry tell your ISP to stop. In order to get this letter to you we have coded links you must decode before using them; its easy, just remove the( _ ) signes.
LETTER TO 9O SERVICE PROVIDERS, May 19, 2006
THIS IS NOT AN ABUSE COMPLAINT: THIS IS A LEGAL NOTICE TO, If you are a ISP who is blocking the domain or IP of this sender, PLEASE PROMPTLY DELIVER THIS LETTER TO YOUR LEGAL DEPARTMENT. Service to Your legal agent is deemed served when sent.
Gentlemen:
There is compelling evidence that your domain is blocking mail from our domain, (you decode this link before using) htttp://www.wht_t.o_rg
or from specific IPS’s associated with this domain to our customers, and that you have done so over a period of at least 45 days or more. WE DEMAND YOU TO CEASE AND DESIST FROM ANY AND ALL SUCH ACTS AGAINST US.
You are documented to be obstructing our mail to our customers from domain www.wht_t.o_rg, IP (6_3.229.126.148-149) resulting from your use or subscriptions to SPAMHAUS SBL advisory. Your blockage of our domain was detected on one or both of May 6, and or, May 7, 2006.
You also blocked www.wht_t.o_rg domain on March 23, 2006, over IP 22_2.208.168.152, also as a documented case of your voluntary commercial use of SPAMHAUS blacklisting.
You have at least twice blocked our service to our clients related directly to and citing as your reason SPAMHAUS blacklisting, and you have joined Spamhaus in stalking us from service provider to service provider causing serious damage to our mission activities http://www.spamhaus.o_rg/sbl/sbl.lasso?query=SBL39366. (coded)
Neither of the above noted domains violated any laws, statutes or ordinances of the United States, including the Federal Can-spam Act, nor have we been cited for any such violation, nor have we violated any contractual obligation with or to your company or organization, nor have we committed any acts that are typical of illegal “spamming.” But you have implied we do all of these things by your acts.
We hereby notify you that we have been defamed and slandered at WHT_T.ORG under Arizona law with our donors and Christ following associates. You have interfered with a legal mission that has as a goal the saving of untold numbers of human lives, some perhaps our own sons and daughters; the cost of interfering with our mission can not be measured in money alone.
The owners of WWW.WHT_T.O_RG have both been damaged in that (1) You have cost us precious time, labor and mental anguish and implied that what we do is illegal and unsavory “spamming;”(2) you have interfered our flow of information to voluntary financial contributors who fund us based on trust; (3) You have irresponsibly defamed and injured our reputation for consistency and continuity built over seven years; (4) You have done so recklessly and with full and disclosed knowledge that parties whose use of SPAMHAUS BLACKLIST will necessarily damage innocent parties.
In purchasing or using the Spamhaus SBL Blacklist you know, or are deemed to know that Spamhaus freely admits, and in fact, warns its commercial users that as a matter of course SPAMHAUS’ methods of BLACKLISTING injures legitimate and legal e-mail senders like ourselves, who are referred to by SPAMHAUS AS “collateral damage.”
This message will be sent to you twice; first, over the blocked system, and then over a virgin IP. We expect a response from you indicating that you have unblocked our IP and domain as well as any keyword blocking aimed at our missions.
Please tell us if you are willing to enter into discussion for a constructive non-invasive way of protecting our mutual interest of a free Internet with reasonable protection for being inundated by illegal spam.
