The end of the freest of free speech
The meteoric rise and fall of freedom of ideas on the Internet
Who is curtailing free speech on the Internet, this will be the subject for later. How it is being curtailed is unknown to most. This is our latest short tale of our own long experience. It is only the latest of eight or nine incidents that have threatened us over the last four years. Now we have decided to fight back! Will you help us? It is your freedom too, if you do nothing Internet communications will go the way of talk radio, a controlled propaganda media for the establishment’s acceptable views.
We have received a number of letters stating words to the effect, “Thank God you found me on the Internet, I don’t know how I got on your list, but your message should go out all over the world; keep it up.”
Of course, we get many more who say “take me off this list”. And we do. But our purpose is to reach around the globe with the Pharisee Watch message. The trouble is, we are not free to do so, even when we think we can afford it. There is an organized “who” that wants Internet communications controlled…by themselves. To get the first glimmer of understanding of how this network works we offer you the following letter. It was delivered to a very successful man who controls a medium-sized company that provides Internet services to many. We were one of them. We have removed the names because this letter should end up as evidence in court. We do not know if it will or not, but I can assure you it is part of a real story that effects you.
