John Hagee’s Christians United For Israel’s (CUFI)

 

“NIGHT TO HONOR ISRAEL”

 

4:00 PM-6:30 PM, October 18, 2009

 

Phoenix Symphony Hall

 

225 E. Adams St, Phoenix, AZ

 

 

This is our second vigil at Symphony Hall. We are there to appeal to all who attend this event. Our signs will be read and understood by thousands and we will offer our printed views to all who pass by, including the curious public. We expect a packed house at this City of Phoenix owned facility.

 

 

CUFI, is headed by John Hagee, who operates under US tax-exempt status, but promotes Israel’s continued occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, not to mention the US occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan. Hagee speaks openly of bombing Iran, and teaches fear of all Muslims. His words reveal his willingness to support extermination of the Arab people, both Christians and Muslims, who live in the land of the Philistines. He dares to claim God’s name as his authority.

 

 

We do not expect to change Hagee, CUFI, nor will we change the Israeli politicians who will be present. Our objective is to point out the terrible mistakes of all who are influenced by CUFI and other Israeli front organizations and selling war inside their Judeo-Christian Churches.

 

 

QUOTES FROM JOHN HAGEE ABOUT WAR AND THE SUPPORT OF ISRAEL:

 

* The enemy is Islam-fascism

 

* No Bible believing Christian can support disengagement. (Referring to Iraq)

 

* You are not going to heaven if you do not like the Jewish people.

 

* The claims (to land) of the Palestinians are a historic fraud…they never owned the land…this makes them gasp for air like catfish out of water.

 

* I would hope the United States would join Israel in a military pre-emptive strike to take out the nuclear capability of Iran for the salvation of Western civilization.

 

 

John Hagee, and all who follow him may be in mortal risk before the God they claim to follow. Their false witness of hatred defies Jesus’ words of Peace and Love for all our brothers and sisters.

 

 

THE RULES OF THE VIGIL:

 

* You may be able to park your car on the street or in a parking garage. The entire vigil will be conducted on public right-of-ways.

 

* Watch for the big Yellow and Black Strait Gate signs at the site. Instructions will be provided on what you can do.* Signs are furnished, some of which read:

NO MORE WARS FOR ISRAEL

 

IRAQ? WWJD? (WHAT WOULD JESUS DO)

 

CHOOSE LIFE, NOT WAR.

 

CHRISTIAN RACISM KILLS PALESTINIANS

 

INNOCENT BLOOD ON OUR HANDS

 

 

* Bring posters and large photos of the true Middle East conditions.

 

* Refrain from loud exchanges with anyone, this is a quiet vigil, do not argue…, but educate.

 

* Please give space and respect to those who come out to talk.

 

* Stay spaced so that all the signs may be seen.

 

* Feel free to tell the press what you think, but refer official inquires to the sponsors

 

* Hand-out literature will be provided.
