An Associated Press article published in Fox News declares, “Palestinian Christians slam Pence’s pro-Israel faith” and reveals an accurate assessment of Christian Zionism not normally found in America’s Main Stream Media (MSM): “Palestinian Christians say U.S. Vice President Mike Pence’s brand of evangelical Christianity, with its fervent embrace of modern-day Israel as fulfillment of biblical prophecy, lacks their faith’s compassion and justice, including for those who have endured half a century of Israeli occupation….”
In this 27 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson, Tom Compton and Craig Hanson discuss the idea that Christian Zionism is not in step with the truth of the gospel and does not represent Jesus Christ and his ministry of peace, compassion, forgiveness and reconciliation. Rather, Christian Zionism represents a selective compassion that ignores the plight of Palestinian Christians and Muslims. To get a good idea of Christian Zionism theology, we recommend reading Vice President Pence’s speech to the Israeli Knesset: Click Here.
Thank you very much for this important message. Christian Zionism is, indeed, a heresy. But it is not only a heresy, it is also a tyrannical “gospel.” And what is so remarkable is that the Christian Zionist doctrine has some similarities with what we call, the prosperity gospel. Regarding the prosperity gospel it is said that those who make a donation to a certain prosperity teacher, he (or she) will be rewarded by God with a lot of money in return. When one supports Israel by making donations to Christian Zionist foundations, churches, organizations etc. he (or she) will be rewarded by God with material gifts (and maybe also money). When prosperity teachers were criticized by other Christians, they responded with anger and told their opponents that by condemning their prosperity doctrine, God would condemn them in return. Or as prosperity teacher once said to them who criticized his false doctrine, “Your children will pay for this!” But this is also the case with many Christian Zionists; when one criticizes the Christian Zionist gospel by saying, for example, that current Israel is not the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, Christian Zionists will respond with “spiritual death threats”, because “if you will come up against Israel, you will someday in the future pay the price.”
Thank you WHTT for your courage and willingness to help the church in the USA to snap out of the detrimental effects of Christian Zionism.
Jesus foretold us that the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing by aggressive men have taken a hold of it, Matthew 11:12; The present day teachers and leadership is a reflection of that and needs to be exposed for their false teaching. WHTT is taking the lead in exposing that deception.
