Help nail this to the church doors:
Christian
Apostasy Enables War
This pastors and leaders conference will attract as many as 10,000
evangelical leaders. The Sunday kickoff attraction is mega-church builder
Rick Warrens.
Jerry Falwell is one of the world?s most prominent
self-proclaimed ?Christian-Zionist? leaders. He blessed both Bush Iraq Wars, and
he blesses Israel?s brutal occupation of Palestine, all in Jesus Christ?s
name. Literally thousands of evangelical leaders are expected, some of
whom are intellectually and spiritually honest and need to be told what is wrong
with thinking and acting like Falwell.
THE RULES:
* Lynchburg Police presence has been requested
* Watch for the
big Yellow and Black Strait Gate signs at the main gate of the college.
*
Bring an appropriate sign or flag if you have one, some appropriate and
effective messages are:
BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS; DEMAND PEACE; IRAQ? WWJD?
(WHAT WOULD JESUS DO); CHOOSE LIFE, NOT WAR; CHRISTIAN RACISM KILLS
PALESTINIANS; INNOCENT BLOOD (on our hands) Iraq, Gaza; OCCUPY, NOT
OCCUPATION (Luke 19:13); APOSTLE, NOT APOSTASY, DUMMY.
large
photos of the Israeli occupation are effective.
* PLEASE DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR ON THE UNIVERSITY GROUNDS
* WALK ONLY ON SIDEWALKS
* Remember, you are addressing
conference-goers and students, not the drive-by public.
*
Refrain from loud exchanges with anyone, this is a quiet vigil.
* Please give space to those who come out to talk, do not interrupt
others, do not argue.
* Stay spaced so all the signs may be seen by
those in the auditorium.
* Please refer all press and other official
inquires to the sponsors.
* Hand out literature will be provided.
* Have fun! You are making Christian history.
