Twenty-six states are now officially in drought, and we are being conditioned to accept higher food costs.  But the weather is not causing escalation of basics, from milk and meat, to oatmeal.  The shortage is deliberate, contrived by greed in high places in agriculture.  It could not happen but for your Congressman\’s cowardliness that has created a Land Gentry class in America at our expense.  Robbery is going on in the House Agriculture Committee and you are the intended victim.
While weather threatens to reduce vital food crops, the forced production and forced  consumption of Ethanol grinds on, consuming up to 35% of all the corn produced in the USA.  This is the cause of the pending world food shortage,as we predicted in 2007.  We told you all about it in our, Help Kill The Farm Bill, July 8, and a series of papers about ethanol predicting food shortages in 2007, called. The House Agriculture Committee, on July 5th, proposed a new U.S. Farm Bill that provides for a huge, hidden expansion of the use of corn to make ethanol, a scheme that will put a Lamborghini in every farm yard at the taxpayer\’s expense.  More important, it assures nothing but high food prices for all consumers.  This law wil even guarantees agribusiness a bumper cash crop every year by paying for 60% of the farmer\’s crop insurance, something that is already being done without our knowing it!  If there is a drought, many large corporate farmers are insured against crop failure at your expense!
Yes, we will pay for it three times, first in higher food costs, then in more forced ethanol consumption, and finally in subsidies to insure agribusiness, another direct subsidy to big banking/insurance.
