Censorship of Easter 2006: The Crucifixion of Jesus’ Words
We are again Thankful to be back, a little bloodied and battered, after being involuntarily shut down, mugged and robbed on April 7, 2006.
Our website and massive e-mailing program that reached some 750,000 persons in March was intentionally scuttled by our Internet service provider, Peer 1 Network Enterprises Inc., and our domain registrar, GoDaddy Software Inc. The latter is rich enough to advertise on the Superbowl; not strong enough to support free speech. Both providers admitted to being intimidated by bigger more mystery force that wields ominous and behind the scenes power over who can speak on the Internet.
The overt power comes from international “blacklisters,‿ nerd-thug enforcers of the Internet’s own private law above US law… controlled from offshore legal shelters. You will get a more detailed story when we have leave to tell it, but for now we are back at the work trying to get our message out.

We also issued a call to hear Gordon Ginn, myself, and others on Internet radio. Hear Gordon Ginn live on Strait Gate Ecclesia Bible study, online 10:00 PM Eastern time, Wednesday nights. Some have told us you did not get the message, others found it dumped in your spam mail bin, one said it arrived five hours after the program was over.
All of this was outside of our control for the 10 days we were censored and blocked, and to some we still are blocked. Please understand, we are not complaining, we have chosen our path, and it is a hard one straight up the side of the mountain called free speech. We chose this path because there will be little freedom of speech if the Internet is lost. It is probably the last and best chance of our lifetime to level the information playing field. The rest of the controlled US media is dominated by an information monopoly, where outright lies become the accepted paradigm.
At present, the Internet still allows truth to surface where censorship is not complete. There is a fleeting competition for ideas on the Internet. It is a small crack of light under the door seen by a few who know where to look for it on websites. The e-mailing networks that criss-cross our lives (often irritating us) allow this faint light to reach those that suspect the light is there. But most have not yet been moved to search for the light. WHTT take the light to their doors as we think the Apostle Paul and Jesus himself would have done.
The Internet e-mail is the fastest, surest outreach, bypassing the media gate keeping bullies, and at an affordable cost. But constitutionally protected political and religious messages are being labeled as spam, while pornography, gambling and other vices flood the Internet. And the abuse of the word “spam‿ is worse than the crime itself. Spamming is an untouchable crime. These mysterious spampolice do not stop illegal spam, but they can shutdown those who are legal, like ourselves, because they can find us.

The complainants against us for “spamming,‿ if there indeed were complaints, remains anonymous to us and protected by the ‘spampolice‿ and not one has been disclosed to us. We are never told who accuses us. But nonetheless we are punished with the shutdown of our organization, and your mail is destroyed. Censorship under the guise of protecting the public from “spammers‿ is now gagging free speech, and it does not prevent illegal e-mailing practices. Our two volunteers who read mail must sort an average of 2000 pieces of illegal mail (the correct word for “spam‿) each day.
Free Speech Zone?
The Internet is a free speech zone as long as you do not use it to contact someone you do not know, and tell them what you have learned. You are free to be a missionary over the WWW in America, so long as you only post your thoughts on a website and hope someone will find it, or advertise your opinion by paying the control moguls of the Internet, such as Google and Microsoft.
If you knew in advance the world trade center was being hit it’s OK for you to post the information on your lonesome and unseen website, but don’t you dare try and shout it out over the Internet, or you too may be blacklisted for “spamming.‿ If Paul Revere had used the Internet instead of his horse he could have only notified those on his “double opt in list.‿ “The British are coming”‿ would be in the bulk mail bin of history.
CENSORSHIP THAT COSTS LIVE
Google, Yahoo, and MSN’s censorship of the Internet was featured April 11, 2006, Frontline program on PBS, in a China documentary called “The Tank Man.”‿ It revealed that Google and others literally sold out their customers’ right to life to the Imperial government’s censorship demands. Google, Yahoo, and friends are guilty of the ultimate censorship in China because the government makes it profitable for them. One of these cowardly giants delivered at least one of its customer, a dissident writer, into a foreign prison by revealing his personal account records to that government.
There is a clear double standard on the Internet. The largest companies, including Microsoft, admittedly send bulk e-mail every day by the uncounted millions and Microsoft is not blacklisted. The Internet is almost completely free for them; it is almost completely controlled for us.
We Hold These Truths will go on telling the truth and nailing our message on the doors of apostate churches and church leaders…via e-mail. We will get our message out by any legal means…that is our pledge and our mission. Now we will be called upon to defend our legal right to do so.
The majority of our friends have been found through direct e-mails that we or someone else sent to them. This is our mission to the most misled majority, the apostate church in America, as well as to encourage the noble and Godly few who still follow Christ sacrificially.
We Hold These Truths has scrupulously stayed 100% legal on the Internet, as best it is possible to do so. We are always in compliance with the Can-Spam Act because our plan for legal action requires that we have clean hands.
Now it is time to determine if we are up to the task of taking on the real powers that control the World Wide Web. The price will be much higher. Legal help is sought. We are already in the midst of the first case we know of where a customer has challenged the providers of Internet service in a local court with defamation and business interference in a similar incident that dates back to August 2004. We are not without experience, and we have done all this without even one attorney.
