THE GREAT TURNING
The Narrow Path to an Age of Peace Counting the Cost

The Great Turning is taking place as we watch. Americans are not only turning away from war, but they will soon turn from those who make war. And they are beginning to look for those whom they should blame. This turning about is at first ponderous, like that of an ocean-going liner. But once started, it will be unstoppable. Gathering momentum, it will crash through anything in its path, even icebergs of ignorance. The strange and diverse anti-war movement is only a symptom of awakening of a much greater slumbering mass of human energy soon to be brought to bear.

What are the signs of The Great Turning? Cities are passing resolutions opposing the so-called war, more correctly slaughter, of Iraqis. On Friday Feb 21st The Los Angeles City Council passed a resolution for peace by a 9-4 vote after rejecting a similar resolution a week before. LA is the largest of 120 or more cities to do so, a sure sign of The Great Turning.

More signs of turning come from media sources themselves, who are not normally critical of past slaughters, and are for the most part historically pro-Israeli patriots. One of these is former Marine Dan Rather, whose interview of Saddam Hussein made the ruler seem human, rather than demonic. And Dan Rather made a rare mention of the real reason for devouring Iraq -- the oil and the water. Americans are accustomed to hearing talk of stealing Iraq's oil, but this is the first time a national figure has suggested that someone west of Iraq is after its huge water reserves. That "someone" Rather eluded to but did not name can only be Israel. Dan Rather never recited the forbidden words: "ISRAEL IS BEHIND OUR WAR ON IRAQ." But he planted the idea of a war for water, not a war to get rid of a person named Sadam Hussein. By legitimizing the connection of a war for resources, Dan Rather has helped American understand that it was the new war that triggered rip off at the gas pump. It is now costing every SUV owner in America about an additional $15.00 every time he or she fills the tank. A very high "war tax."

Another, surprising sign of the Great Turning came from Public Broadcasting's Bill Moyers, who also broke ground by criticizing President Bush and Vice President Cheney for hiding their war agenda behind the American lapel flag while they spoke word to make war. Moyers on PBS NOW, went so far as to pin on a flag of his own lapel, passionately stating, "IT IS TIME TO TAKE BACK THE FLAG!" To emphasize the hypocrisy of the two, he showed the presidential pair with their American flag pins on their lapels as they demanded the destruction of Iraq. Moyers' rare harsh criticism, delivered with genuine emotion, demonstrated in the clearest way that he thinks the President is hiding behind his sacred flag while lying about the war! This too is a sign of The Great Turning.

Ted Turner, himself a media mogul, was hammered by his own media bosses for making an obviously fair statements about Arabs, who were not even Iraqis. Ted Turner no longer runs CNN as was plainly shown when he was forced to apologize for saying that while he did not approve of "suicide bombings" and that Muslims who go on these never to return missions are anything but cowards. Up to this time most people did not know Mr. Turner did bit run CNN. We learned the Ted Turner also has a boss! But who is it?

Another sign of turning came in the words of former President Jimmy Carter on Sunday, March 9, in the New York Times, "JUST WAR -- OR A JUST WAR?" Mr. Carter summarized his own story as follows:

"AS A CHRISTIAN AND AS A PRESIDENT WHO WAS SEVERELY PROVOKED BY INTERNATIONAL CRISES, I BECAME THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF A JUST WAR, AND IT IS CLEAR THAT A SUBSTANTIALLY UNILATERAL ATTACK ON IRAQ DOES NOT MEET THESE STANDARDS. THIS IS AN ALMOST UNIVERSAL CONVICTION OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS, WITH THE MOST NOTABLE EXCEPTION OF A FEW SPOKESMEN OF THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION WHO ARE GREATLY INFLUENCED BY THEIR COMMITMENT TO ISRAEL BASED ON ESCHATOLOGICAL, OR FINAL DAYS, THEOLOGY."

Mr. Carter, like this author, a former Baptist Deacon, exposed the roll of certain Christian evangelicals who are enabling or facilitating this war, cruel and evil.

The administration has announced it is operating under a plan about which the press claimed it was not informed. On the March 5th ABC Nightline show, a host of former Republican administration appointees, led by a grinning William Kristol, told viewers that there was a private war plan in place that was authored three years before there was a President George W. Bush. Nightline's anchor, Ted Koppel stated, quote:

"BACK IN 1997, A GROUP OF WASHINGTON HEAVYWEIGHTS, ALMOST ALL OF THEM NEO-CONSERVATIVES, FORMED AN ORGANIZATION CALLED THE PROJECT FOR THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY." Koppel continued: "THEY BEGAN FORMULATING A STRATEGY, IN THIS CASE, A FOREIGN POLICY STRATEGY, THAT MIGHT BRING INFLUENCE TO BEAR ON THE ADMINISTRATION THEN IN POWER, OR ON A NEW ADMINISTRATION THAT MIGHT SOMEDAY COME TO POWER." Ted Koppel said the push to eliminate Saddam Hussein is "LINKED TO A WILLINGNESS TO USE FORCE TO PROTECT VITAL AMERICAN INTERESTS IN THE GULF. THE MEN BEHIND THAT CAMPAIGN WERE SUCH NAMES AS DICK CHENEY, DONALD RUMSFELD AND PAUL WOLFOWITZ. WHAT WAS, BACK IN 1997, MERELY A THEORY, IS NOW, IN 2003, US POLICY." -end quote Koppel.

Koppel is telling us those who run the Administration's war plan. A cabal, it seems, dreamed up that policy before the President was even a candidate and that they plan to take over Iraq. The obvious question this raises is, who is running whom? Perhaps we should ask, who is the appointer and who is the appointed? Why would ABC's Nightline make this amazing disclosure to the American people on the very eve of war? The answer is ABC is forced to do so by foreign media and Internet competition, which are both a part of The Great Turning.

This author, as Director of WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS, stated that Mr. Bush would be a puppet President before he was ever elected. Now Ted Koppel is telling us the same thing and many more will now listen to us. Here I quote a passage written by me two full years before Ted Koppel's amazing revelations, which should be no surprise to you:

"THE UPCOMING BUSH ADMINISTRATION IS LIKELY TO BE THE MOST CONTROLLED AND MANIPULATED ADMINISTRATION EVER. BUSH HIMSELF IS A COMPETITOR FOR THE MOST INCOMPETENT MAN TO EVER ACHIEVE THE PRESIDENCY. [He](sic) IS ALSO LIKELY TO BE A PLANNED ONE-TERM PRESIDENT FOR REASONS TO BE DISCUSSED IN FUTURE EDITIONS. WHAT IS VITAL TO DISCUSS IS TO WHOM HE OWES HIS ALLEGIANCE. UNFORTUNATELY, BUSH'S GEOPOLITICAL INCOMPETENCE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS CAPACITY TO DO EVIL TO OUR COUNTRY, FOR THE MORE VACANT AND UNDERACHIEVING THE PRESIDENT, THE MORE [MANIPULABLE](SIC. HE IS IN THE HANDS OF HIS ADVISORS, AND [is}(sic) THE MORE DANGEROUS TO US."

Above from: "THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS IS STILL EVIL, ABOUT THE BUSH CANDIDACY" by Charles E. Carlson. We are told it is bad taste to quote oneself, but we don't know anyone else who said it better until Ted Koppel came along!

As the media begins to crash around him, the great perpetual war plan of those controlling most of our puppet presidents for much of that last century, through the course of many wars, is finally being exposed. George W. Bush, who is possessed by a malleable and inferior mind in the body of a life-long trained politician, will soon discover what his handlers already know, that his political life is ending. He is almost sure to be a planned scapegoat for those who control his war policy. Permit us to again quote from THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS:

"THERE IS NOTHING INCOMPETENT OR UNDECIDED ABOUT BUSH'S ADVISORS. POWERFUL AND AMBITIOUS MEN, MOST OF WHOM SHAPED HIS FATHER'S GULF WAR-MAKING ADMINISTRATION, ALREADY SURROUND BABY BUSH. AND UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN GEORGE W. BUSH'S CHARACTER THAT SUGGESTS HE WILL RESIST, OR EVEN UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THE EVIL HE WILL BE ASKED TO PRONOUNCE UPON THOSE [WHOM](sic) THEY ENVY AND HATE."

Your author did not have inside information about THE PROJECT FOR THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY when this was written, but a predecessor war plan has been well known to us for many years. We did not know of this Wolfowitz conniving until Ted Koppel told us about it. That some such puppet masters exists can now be seen by examining the plans of those whom the President appointed to carry out the war agenda provided by those he appointed. Wolfowitz and his war team had a plan predating Mr. Bush's nomination that called for war on Iraq! One must ask whose bidding and for what secret super-bosses do Paul Wolfowitz and William Kristol act? Above them and above Bush there can only be an experience and ruthlessness cabal that uses war as a political tool.

As this President's second Iraq annihilation plan runs aground in a growing tide of angry fueled public understanding, the true purpose of the Cabal's agenda becomes more clear, even if we can not identity everyone who is pulling his strings. President Bush is very visible, and is about to be discredited as few before him have ever been disgraced.

Herbert Hoover is wrongly known as the Depression president; G. W. Bush may be known as "the Warmonger President." The former is blamed for dragging us into depression and his fine name will ever be associated with financial misery. When and if the bombing of Iraq is done, history will probably record President Bush as an arrogant, mean, and brutal man, a malicious liar, and the executioner of many. He may be recalled as the bully of the world who engendered the killing field in Iraq and Palestine. Future generations may hold their noses when they hear Mr. Bush's name, and he may never know what happened to him, so incompetent is he.

Mr. Bush is to be a sacrificial goat (hardly a lamb) to the money powers who made him and who have controlled him from his undistinguished beginning to ignominious finish, without his ever suspecting it. Bush's role will be to lead the flock of Americans to a financial slaughter, while he forces a bloody mass executions of Palestinians and Iraqis, both Muslims and Christians. His job is to maximize the war on Islam, it is the same war that was fueled by his father 12 years before him.

Oblivious to or uncaring of the horror he is about to unleash, President Bush is charging ahead like a pace car in the Indianapolis 500 -- in the lead for one lap, but the most inferior car on the track. When the signal comes from his handlers to change directions, G. W. Bush will be the only one who will not get the message. He will find himself all alone at the front of an empty column, on his way to his own deserved obscurity.

The media Koppel's of the world are coming clean at last, but not because they have a choice. We doubt if it is conscience or a concern for fair play that moves the NY Times and ABC Nightline to the truth, it is foreign media and Internet competition that propels them.

Ted Koppel tipped this off himself by giving the program its title, "IT'S A SCHEME, NOT A CONSPIRACY" in his own introduction. Koppel made what was to some a stunning exposé of a warmaking mechanism above the Bush Administration, carrying out a war plan invented by appointees in former administrations. This on the very eve of the most unpopular war ever. He told of a war plan written before there was a President G. W. Bush. And he told us why he was telling us when he quoted two competitors in Europe who had already blown the whistle on the Wolfowitz Gang. ABC was reacting to a necessity, confessing just before being caught.

Ted Koppel introduced the show as follows: "You can watch our story tonight on at least two levels. One, the conspiracy theory, as in this excerpt from a Scottish newspaper, the Glasgow 'Sunday Herald':"

"A SECRET BLUEPRINT FOR US GLOBAL DOMINATION REVEALS THAT PRESIDENT BUSH AND HIS CABINET WERE PLANNING A PREMEDITATED ATTACK ON IRAQ TO SECURE REGIME CHANGE EVEN BEFORE HE TOOK POWER IN JANUARY 2001."

Koppel continued, "And a similar, if slightly more hysterical, version from a Russian paper, the 'Moscow Times':

"NOT SINCE MEIN KAMPF HAS A GEOPOLITICAL PUNCH BEEN SO BLATANTLY TELEGRAPHED, YEARS AHEAD OF THE BLOW." -end Koppel.

What Are The Possibilities And What Should Be Our Course Of Resistance:

Even as the bombing begins, The Great Turning is also gaining momentum. President Bush believes he is committed, but his Israeli-patriot bosses know no commitment to anyone. Their plans are being exposed as they blackmail nations and openly connive to make war against other Islamic governments. Unlike Mr. Bush who is hurdling headlong, his handlers probably have alternative plans to consider. They will weigh the risk to themselves. They can and will change directions any time it suits them. They are capable of deferring to another plan we do not yet contemplate at any time it is in their interest to do so.

President Bush is fully capable of carrying out the bloodiest annihilation in US history. If he carpet-bombs the people of Iraq he will be blamed for genocide to cover for his bosses. The Judas goat may become a scapegoat. George W. Bush is about to massacre the Iraqi people without even knowing he is on the way to his own political suicide. Only a man with limited vision and intellect, a true political pawn, would murder the people of Iraq in front of a hostile world -press knowing he has no allies, no world support, and no excuse that will stand up to historical scrutiny.

If the war is instead abandoned or cut short because the Iraqis do not resist, we still face the likelihood of an engineered economic collapse at home like the one forced upon the American people in 1929, which plunged the country into extreme hardship. In either case Bush will be unelectable in 2004.

In the wake of President Bush's unjust war, Joseph Lieberman, a committed Israeli Patriot, is likely to be elected as the first Jewish President in 2004. He will either be billed as the candidate of peace or the candidate of prosperity, depending on events.

No other candidate has closer political attachments to the present cabalists, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and William Kristol than does Joseph Lieberman, for all are Israeli Patriots. And Senator Lieberman can easily gain an even split of the Christian evangelicals' vote by smiling when he mentions the name of "Jesus." He will be all but worshiped as part of the "chosen race" for it Evangelicals will support Ariel Sharon, why not vote for smiling, affable Jewish Joseph Lieberman. George W. Bush is about to be totally discredited as a monster, or as an economic blunderer.

Before the 2000 election his author predicted "LIEBERMAN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004" and nothing has changed.
